Passed peacefully away at her residence in Harbour Breton on Thursday, October 13, 2011, Mrs. Cassie Griffin, age 66 years. Leaving to mourn her loving family: husband, Albert; daughters, Gloria (John Hackett,Jr.) at Rainbow Lake, AB, Sandra (Leo Augot) at Harbour Breton, Holly (Darryl Molloy) at Harbour Breton, Patsy (Andy Fudge) at Rainbow Lake, AB, Tammy (Nelson Rose) at Rainbow Lake, AB, Vanessa (Billy Cox) at Leduc, AB, and Sarah (Robin Morgan) at CBS; son, Junior (Maggie) at Harbour Breton and adopted son, Wallace Snook; fourteen grandchildren and one great grandchild; sisters, Rosie Cox (Edward) at Harbour Breton and Velma Spencer at St. John’s; brothers, Wallace Tibbo (Florence) at Harbour Breton, Cyril Tibbo (Joanne) at Mose Ambrose and Clyde Tibbo (Mina) at Grand Falls-Windsor; plus a large circle of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her parents, Clyde and Sarah Tibbo, sister, Doreen Snook, and brother, Little Clyde. Funeral service was held on Monday, October 17, 2011, at 11:00 am from St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Church, Harbour Breton, with Rev. Juanita Freeman officiating. Cremation will follow.
