Passed peacefully away in Tampa, Florida, on Wednesday, October 19, 2011, after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer, Mary Lou Farrell - Palmer. Predeceased by her parents: Arthur and Elizabeth Farrell; brother, Arthur; special niece, Jane Cahill; and members of the Palmer family. Leaving to mourn her loving husband, Peter and daughter, Farrell Beth; sisters: Lorraine Cahill (John), Elizabeth Murphy (Fred), Jeanie Baird (David), Gail Wall; brothers: Joe (Jen), John (Ros), Larry (Thelma), Dartmouth, NS; stepmother, Florence Shortall; also, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held in Tampa, FL, and St. John’s. Dates to be announced.
