MUISE, Mildred Nora – 89, Amirault’s Hill, Yarmouth Co., passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born July 21, 1922 in Kelly’s Cove, she was a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Doucette) O’Connell. Mildred worked at Cosmos Imperial Mills, Yarmouth, as well as at Yarmouth Regional Hospital. She is survived by her children, Anne (Eddie) Sweeney, Mood’s Mill Road; Paul (Bernadette) Muise, Amirault’s Hill; David (Sylvia) Muise, New Minas; Billy (Linda) Muise, Sluice Point; Gail (Jimmy) Contant, Standish, ME; grandchildren, Larry, Billy, Adrian, Elliott and Jordan; great grandchildren, Kelton, Paris and Sophia; sisters, Kathleen Reilly and Dorothy Beazley, both of Yarmouth. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Louis E. Muise; brothers, John, Arthur, Pat, Douglas O’Connell; a sister, Annie Carleton. Visitation took place from 7-9 Thursday, with prayers at 8 p.m. at H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth, where the funeral was held at 2 p.m., Friday, October 21, Rev. Mr. Stephen Bourque officiated. Interment followed in Holy Family parish cemetery, Amirault’s Hill.
