(nee Burgess) Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at the Hoyles-Escasoni Complex on Tuesday, February 19, 2008, Clara Tiller, age 88, of St. John's, formerly of Whiteway, Trinity Bay. Clara was a gentle soul who touched many people's lives. She left this world the way she lived her life, with grace and dignity and an unwavering regard for those she loved. She will be greatly missed. Predeceased by husband Douglas; parents, Charles and Maude Burgess; brothers: Lewis, Llewelyn, Frederick, Pleamon, Robert; sisters: Ellen (Nellie) Rowe and Violet. Leaving to mourn sons: bob, Harold Burgess (Alice); daughters: Marylou (Bob Leeman), Linda Kavanagh (Brian Murphy), Sylvia Moore (Ed); sister Mary (Bill Driscoll); special nephew Russell Tiller (Jennifer); grandchildren Tanya (Michael Butler), Ryan, Douglas, Madison, Adam, Dwight (Joanne Burgess), Penny, Nicole (Mike Smyth); great grandchildren: Erin, Abby, Chase, Mackenzie, Leslie; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue.
