Passed peacefully away on Friday, October 28, 2011 at the Health Sciences Complex, surrounded by loving family and friends, Lorraine Mary Cowan (nee Barrett), age 82 years. Predeceased by her husband Dr. Earle Cowan; brother John Barrett; brother-in-law Harry Cowan; and sister-in-law Alice Cowan. Leaving to mourn with so many wonderful memories daughter Heather (Mike Ogden)(Hamilton, ON); sons: Henry “Bud” (Winnie), Dave (Tish), Chris, Paul (Bonnie)(Halifax, NS), Blaine (Felicia), and Duncan, (Los Angeles CA); grandchildren: Lori Greenough (Richard), Michael Ogden, Adam (Felicia), Craig (Kayla), Scott (Stacey), Christopher (Chantal), Katie (Daniel), Sean, Jessica, Emily, Eilish, Mollie, Harry, Blaine and Julie (Phil); great grandchildren: Nolan and Barrett Greenough, Harlow and Lily Cowan. Also fondly remembered by brothers: Edgar Barrett (Toronto ON), and David Barrett (Linda); special sisters-in-law: Eleanor Cowan and Lillian Barrett; brother- in-law John Cowan (Geri); as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Special thanks to her caregivers who tended to her very needs. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations made be made in Lorraine’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
