At the Kings County Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, October 27, 2009, of Barbara Isabel MacKinnon (nee Whiteway) of Montague, formerly of Brooklyn, age 85 years.
Wife of the late Arthur MacKinnon. Loving mother of Wayne (Twilah), Blair (Lina), Sherren MacKinnon, Anne (Pat) Farrell, Terry Mermuys and Nancy MacKinnon (Mike O\'Connor). Cherished grandmother of Steven, Kirk, Donald and Myles MacKinnon, Cody and Amy Farrell, Jason and Luke Mermuys and Kristen Bell, Tara Deglan Gallant, Sondi Deglan, Jena Drake and Mandi Grace. Great-grandmother of 10. Dear sister of Clarence (Sara) Whiteway and Roy (Florrie) Whiteway.
Predeceased by grandsons, Brett MacKinnon, Adam Mermuys and great-grandson, Jacob; brothers and sisters-in-law, Alex (Dorothy) and George (Anne) Whiteway.
Resting at Ferguson\'s Montague Funeral Home from where the service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday at 2 p.m. Interment in the Valleyfield Cemetery.
Visitation: Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
