Passed peacefully away on October 29th, 2009, Albert Walter (Abby) George, age 77 years. Predeceased by his father Alan George and mother Sarah Jane (Jean) Squires (nee George) and brother Don. Left to mourn his loving wife Noreen (Pugh) and the “greatest boys in the world”, Glen (Lisa), Darryl (Cheryl Crane), and grandsons “little” Mark, age 6, “little” Ryan, age 3 and “little” Gavin, age 2. Also leaving to mourn his sister Helen Greening of Calgary, and his in-laws Mary (Jim) Thistle, Jean (Doug) Moore, Joyce (Reg) Whitten, Nita (Jerry) Baird, Brett Pugh (Helena Turner) and Jack (Fran) Pugh, as well as a number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Friday, October 30th, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held on Saturday, October 31st, 2009 at 2 p.m. from Barrett’s Chapel.
