PHILLIPS, DOLPHUS - Dolphus Peabody Phillips, 93, of Sussex, passed away at the St. Joseph’s Hospital on November 5, 2011. Born in Rusagonis, NB, he was a son of the late Eldon and Janet (nee Peabody) Phillips. He is survived by his daughter, Christine Oliver (Bill); his grandson Daniel; his sister Jean Forrest (Patrick) of Ontario; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Dolph was predeceased by his wife, Mildred Elizabeth Phillips (nee Shrieves); brothers: Roy, Bart, and Kermit; sisters: Ada, Helen, Viva and Joan.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 7 to 9pm and Monday 2 to 8 pm; the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 8 at 11:00am with Dr. Leo Gallant presiding at the Sussex Baptist Church.
