It is with great sadness we announce the passing at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, October 30, 2009, of Ellen Lavina Richardson (nee Feehan), age 71 years. She died the way she would have wanted, surrounded by her loving family.
She is survived by her children, Stuart (Paula), Douglas (Ines), Denise (Barry) and Cindy (Jason); her grandchildren, Daniel, Kellianne, Kaisla and Tuukka; her sisters, Kay, Peggy (John), Bernadette (Percy), Geraldine (Ronnie); and her brother, Charlie.
She is predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Catherine Feehan; her brother, Danny; and her sister, Frances.
She will be dearly missed by all whom she touched.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home until Monday at 9:45, then to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visitation Sunday 6-9 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
