Germaine Goguen
GOGUEN, GERMAINE - Germaine Goguen, 94, wife of the late Ephrem Goguen, passed away on Friday November 11, 2011 at the Villa Providence, Shediac, where she resided. She was formerly of the Résidence Bernaise in St-Antoine and of Grande-Digue. Born May 13, 1917 in Grande-Digue, she was the daughter of the late Auguste and Marie-Anne (Bourgeois) Vautour. She is survived by a daughter, Gabrielle Cormier (Raymond) of Notre-Dame; two sons: Yvon Goguen (Jeannine) of Grande-Digue and Valérie Goguen (Nicole) of Leominster, MA; her half-brothers and half-sisters: Émilia Bourque (Edmond), Rose LeBlanc, Ulysse Vautour (Cécile), Alma Bourque (Léonard), Yvon Vautour (Cécile), Jeanne d'Arc LeBlanc, and Anne-Marie LeBlanc (Orice); nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Besides her husabnd, she is predeceased by her step-mother, Marie Arsenault; a half-sister, Marguerite Cormier; two brothers: Alderice and Alcide Vautour.
The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, November 15 from 2 p.m. at Frenette Funeral Home, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) followed by the funeral service at 4 p.m. Interment will be in the St-Joseph's Cemetery, Shediac.
