Theodore "Ted" Smigielski passed away peacefully at the age of 74 after a courageous battle with cancer. Ted was born January 10, 1937 in Goodridge, Alberta and passed away November 7, 2011 in Kamloops, B.C.

Ted was predeceased by his wife of 43 years Sylvia Smigielski and is survived by their children Todd (Krista) Smigielski and Tara (Ian) Lyster, grandchildren Amy, Ben, Beckett and Alivia. Ted is also survived by his partner Doreen Brown. Ted will be greatly missed by all.

An informal memorial tea will be held Thursday, November 17, 2011 from 2:00-4:00p.m. at the Hal Rogers Kinsmen Centre, 2025 Summit Drive.
