JAMES, Margaret — Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home on Thursday, November 10th, 2011, aged 98 years. Margaret (nee Whelan). Predeceased by her husbands Patrick Tobin and Kevin James, parents James and Margaret Whelan, sisters Evaline Gushue and Catherine Walsh, brothers Lawrence, David and James Whelan. Leaving to mourn one sister Agatha (Dot) Heffernan (Bill, deceased) Mt. Pearl, brother Gerald (Gertie) Whelan, Colliers, stepson Michael James ( Rosemarie) (Doodie), five grandchildren, Ann (Todd Hiscock), Michael (Annette), Rachel (Robert Riggs), Aaron, Rebecca (Adam Perry), 9 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Special friends Mary Gamberg and Ida Marrie. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Saturday from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, November 14th, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Pius X Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made in her memory to a charity of one’s choice.
