Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Saturday, October 31, 2009 after a lengthy battle with leukemia. Richard Crowe, aged 63 years. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 37 years Elaine (McDonald), daughter Jolene Wood (Jerry), sons Greg (Vanessa), Matthew (April). Grandchildren Noah, Caleb, Joseph, and Ava. Also left to mourn sisters Elaine Grant (Ron), Maxine Hall (Ron), and Kelly Behm. Brothers-in-law Wayne McDonald (Linda), Jerry McDonald (Dallas), Derm McDonald (Kim), sisters-in-law Patsy Cooper (Allan), Linda McDoland (Brian), Jackie McDoland, and Eileen Lucas as well as a large number of other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the nursing staff and doctors of 4NA Health Sciences Centre. At Richard’s request, cremation has taken place. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 freshwater Road on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Funeral service to take place from the Carnell Memorial Chapel at 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
