Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Complex, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, November 12th, 2011. Shirley Ricketts aged 80 years. Predeceased by her devoted husband Robert J. Ricketts. Leaving to mourn with fond and precious memories are her two sons David (Debbie) and Nelson (Lillian); 2 grandsons Trevor (Stephanie) and Robert (Amanda); granddaughter Nicole (Jason); 7 great-grandchildren: Manike, Steven, Emily, Isabell, Anastasia, Colby, and Lorelei; sister Marjorie Baggs (U.S.); sister-in-law Lottie Baggs (Labrador); as well as a large circle of other family members and friends. We wish to say thank you to the Doctors, Nurses, and staff of 5 North A at the Health Sciences Complex for taking such special care and attendance for our mom. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Monday, November 14 and Tuesday, November 15 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held at Jamestown Anglican Church, Jamestown, NL on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at 2:00pm with interment to follow at Jamestown Anglican Cemetery.
