Passed away peacefully at the Brampton Civic Hospital, in her 73rd year, on November 12, 2011.
Beloved wife of Duane for 48 years; cherished mother of Gary, Gail Legault (Kevin) and Kim. Survived by brother, Lawrence Coffin, and sister, Lillian Ladner of Charlottetown, P.E.I., sister-in-law Jean Coffin of Charlottetown and Pat Holzworth (Dell) of Prince George, B.C.
Predeceased by brother, Richard Coffin of Charlottetown, P.E.I., sister, Alice, and husband Stirling Gamester of Georgetown, ON, brother-in-law, Cecil Ladner and sister-in-law, Florence Coffin of Charlottetown, P.E.I.
Beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Evelyn, born in Boston, MA, graduated as an RN from the P.E.I Hospital in Charlottetown in 1959 and retired from Peel Memorial Hospital in Brampton after a 38-year career in nursing. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Avenue, Georgetown ON (905) 877-3631 on Tuesday, November 15, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, November 16, at 11 a.m. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
