Florence "Flo" Nason

NASON, FLORENCE “FLO” KATHLEEN - Florence “Flo” Kathleen Nason passed away on October 31st, 2011 in Toronto. She was born August 26th, 1918 in Fredericton, N.B. and died at West Park Long Term Care Home, where she had resided for two years. She was married to Wilfred Nason, in Fredericton in 1939 and moved with family in 1941 to Toronto. While there, special caregivers Mayene, Vigi, Maretta and Phong were of particular cheer. Florence was predeceased by her Husband in 1988, her parents Edna and Wilber Banks, one sister and six brothers. She leaves behind sister-in-law Mary Banks of Saint John, N.B. and one son Hal, two grandchildren, Kathleen and Patrick and three great grandchildren, Matt, Jeff, and Shayna, all of New Brunswick as well as two nieces.
She will be missed by friends but especially dear friend of 55 years, Margaret Foster, who helped Flo in so many ways over the years to keep her independence and taking wonderful trips to Hawaii and other enjoyable destinations.
Interment was from Lynett Funeral Home in Toronto on Monday, November 7th, 2011.
