Passed suddenly away at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s on Wednesday, November 9, 2011, Mr. Reginald Cox, age 81 years, of Hermitage, formerly of Rencontre West. Leaving to mourn his loving family: wife, Myrtle; sons, Allan (Mildred) at Eastern Passage, NS and Perry (Cindy) at St. Alban’s; daughter, Lillian Loveless (Donald) at Middle Sackville, NS; grandchildren, Lisa, Glen, Brandon, Tia, Tessa, Tori, and Trista; great grandchildren, Kylie, Katie, Kasey, Dylan and Derek; sister, Ada Parsons at St. John’s; sister in law, Thelma Lundrigan at Burin; plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by parents, Arthur and Amelia Cox, brother, Maxwell, and sister, Molly. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in his memory, to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or St. Savior’s Anglican Church in Hermitage. Funeral service took place on Sunday, November 13, 2011, at 2:00 pm at St. Savior’s Anglican Church in Hermitage with Bishop Donald Young officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery in Hermitage-Sandyville. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Spencer’s Funeral Home.
