Florence Marguerite Jordan 86 years of Redbridge, Ontario and formerly of Springhill, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2011 in The North Bay Regional Health Centre, North Bay, Ontario. Born in Truro, she was a daughter of the Late Stanley and Nettie (McNutt) McNutt.
Florence was a hairdresser in Springhill for 33 years; she was a past member of Pythian Star Temple # 8, Pythian Sisters and Springhill Senior Citizens. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and watching TV.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Nancy (Jack) Fenerty, Red Bridge, Ontario; brothers, Paul Victor McNutt, California, Stanley Hall McNutt, Elmvale, Ontario; grandsons, Kevin and Keith (Jessica); several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert "Howard" Jordan; brother Joseph.
Arrangements have been entrusted to A. H. Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill, (902 597 2361). A Graveside Committal Service will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 9:30 am in Pine Grove Cemetery, Oxford, with Pastor Paul Berry officiating.
