Michael Riggs, 51, 414 Main St., Florence, passed away at home on Nov. 17, 2011.
Born in Bellville, Ont., he was the son of Marie (Jessome) Riggs and the late Bill Riggs.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his children, Natasha and Larry; sisters, Annette (Blair), Francine (Glen) and Natalie (Jim); and his brother, Bernie. He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews; his best friend, Chris; and many other friends.
Besides his father, he was predeceased by his brother, Billy.
Visitation Tuesday, 7-9 p.m. in Francis Funeral Home, Sydney Mines. A graveside service will take place Thursday at 2 p.m. in St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Florence, with Fr. Thomas John officiating.
