It is with profound sorrow and beautiful memories we mark the peaceful passage of Allene Marie Christine “Chrissy” Ennis, our loving, kind and generous mother, grandmother, aunt, wife and friend. Chrissy was predeceased by her daughter Alison; beloved husband Jimmy; and her parents Gertrude and Reginald Lambert. She is survived by her daughters; Joan Ennis Schmidt (John Schmidt) and Sara Ennis Roberts (Jason Lampard) and her beautiful grandchildren, Alison, Erin, Leah and Jamie; her loving husband John Rittinger and his children, Doug (Darlene) Rittinger, Eileen Ray (Harvey Subchuk), their children; Jay, Jenna, Curtis, Johnathan, Colleen, Kaitlin and grandchildren, Connor, Carter, Hunter, Xander, Sylver, Pyper and Nixon. Her memory will be cherished by her brothers and sisters, Jim, Joey, Liz, Bev and Len; as well as many other family members and friends. We would like to thank the Palliative Care Unit at the Pasqua Hospital whose care was amazing. Prayers were said at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Ave., Regina, SK on Friday, November 18, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass was held at Christ the King RC Church, 3239 Garnet Street, Regina, SK with Rev. S. Antony, celebrant, on Saturday November 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. A Memorial Celebration of her life will be held at a later date in Swift Current where she had been residing for the past seven years.
