Dorothy and Glen farmed and lived in Cadillac from 1946 - 2001, then moved to Ponteix in 2003. In Cadillac, for a few years, Dorothy was active as C.G.I.T leader. She enjoyed guiding the girls and projects. As a Sunday School teacher she loved the little children and was blessed to be able to teach about God and His Son, Jesus. She was artistic and when Artex and Ceramics were a popular, fun thing to do. She did serveral ceramic pieces for her family, which included a unique canister set. She also enjoyed refinishing old furniture, completing a couple of tables and re-upholstering older chairs. For several years she decorated wedding cakes and was always happy to present the finished cake to each Bride-to-be. In her senior years at Cadillac, she enjoyed being part of the 50-50 Club. Dorothy and Glen loved their Cadillac friends and were equally as interested in their families. As much as Mom & Nannie loved us...she also, had love for her nephews and nieces. Her last two and one half years, after a fall, put her in the Ponteix Foyer. The last year was again shared, side by side with Glen, her husband of 65 years and now she has gone to be with the Lord. Donations in her memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the the Salvation Army, would be appreciated by the family. Warren's Funeral Home were entrusted with the arrangements.
