GLADYS MATTHEWS
We the family of the late Gladys Mathews wish to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all those who helped in any way to care for our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Special thanks to the palliative care team including the doctors nurses and volunteers the cancer centre and staff, VON services and the staff and Red Cross Society, all of who helped with providing for and assisting with Mom's care. To friends of Mom and family who spent time with her and visited her helped care for her while at home, in hospital and for overnight stays, you know who you are. To her best friend Patsy Sheppard for taking Mom's loving cat Ginger into her home and into her heart. To Chants Funeral Home and Directing Staff for putting on a beautiful service, to Rev Nancy Whitney, Wendy Lynk and to Sheldon Chant for singing the beautiful hymns at the service. To the pallbearers, readers, those who sent Mass and sympathy cards, gave monetary donations brought food to the house, hospital and funeral home, travelled from away, opened and closed the grave, made donations in her name, and assisted in any other way, we are deeply grateful.
