LOUGHERY, GALE - Gale Susan Loughery, loving wife of Bill Loughery occurred peacefully on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Bobby’s Hospice. Born 1957 in Saint John she is the daughter of the late Warren and Helen (Cunningham) Miller. Gale enjoyed spending time with her family especially her granddaughter. She loved camping, swimming, fishing and walks on the beach, she will be sadly missed but always remembered by all who knew her. In addition to her devoted husband Bill, she is survived by her loving daughters Heather Hamilton (Jeret Ellis) of Rothesay and Kelsey Loughery (Ben Holland) of Quispamsis; cherished granddaughter Hailey; mother-in-law Faith Loughery; brother Wes Miller (Yvonne); brothers and sisters-in-law Lynn Loughery (Mario Gagnon), Heather Boel (Hans), Patricia Loughery, David Loughery and Tom Loughery (Bonnie); best friend Gale Ramsey; good friends Ann Keating, Cookie Hamilton and Lynn Thompson; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Following cremation, visitations will be held from Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Friday, November 25, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A memorial service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Luke’s Church Cemetery, Quispamsis.
