HODGSON, MARIE WINNIFRED - The death of Marie Hodgson of Waasis, NB occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on November 23rd, 2011. Born August 30th, 1933 in Miramichi, NB, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Gertrude (Chapman) Gardner and wife of the late Robert E. Hodgson. Marie is survived by her son, Brent Hodgson and his wife, Cindy; grandchildren, Cody and Shannon Hodgson (Ethan Cere); great-grandchildren, Alyshia Leigh Marie Hodgson and Isaac Allen Robert Hodgson; siblings, Brian Gardner (Jasper), Wilfred Gardner (Mabel) and Douglas Gardner; sister-in-law, Barbara Gardner and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Bob and her brother, Sterling Gardner.
Visitation will be held at St. Margaret's Anglican Church on Friday, November 25th, 2011 from 7 to 9 pm. A memorial service will be held at the church on Saturday, November 26th, 2011 at 2:00 pm with Canon Jon Lownds officiating.
