It is with great sadness that we the family announce the sudden passing of Herbert B. Leggett, 70 of Amherst at his home on Tuesday, November 22, 2011.
Born in Springhill, he was a son of the late Herbert and Thelma (Doncaster) Leggett.
Herbert will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 51 years, Sandy (nee Bulmer); his children, Kathy Paulin, Robert (Tina) and John all of Amherst; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two nieces, Jannis and Barbie; as well as extended family and friends.
Beside his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Jimmie; and niece, Ruth Ann.
As per Herbert's wishes, cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Campbell's Funeral Home, Amherst (667-9906). There will be no visitation or funeral service at this time.
