WE WILL HOLD YOU IN OUR HEARTS FOREVER.

It is with profound sadness and sense of loss that we announce the sudden passing of Bradley Munro, due to meningitis at his university home in Kamloops, B.C.

Brad is survived by his mother Janet, his father Brian, his brother Kyle, his grandmothers, aunties, uncles, and cousins.

Bradley was a Children's Hospital cancer survivor and part of a Wilms Tumor Research Study. After graduating from MESS in 2006, Bradley was further pursuing his goals and dreams at Thompson Rivers University, which he was in his last semester of his degree in Theatre. Bradley was hoping to move onto a career in Stage Management upon completion of his degree requirements. Bradley was a very active student on campus with his involvement in TRU Pride, Leader of the Drama and Theatre Club and Student Representative on the Comprehensive University Enhancement Fund Committee. Bradley was also well known throughout the Kamloop's Theatre community with his involvement in Project X and the Western Canada Theatre Company. We miss Bradley deeply; his kind and gentle soul, authenticity, sense of humor, originality and compassion will be greatly missed.

A Memorial Service was held at the Sagebrush Theatre in Kamloops, B.C. on Saturday, November 12, 2011, where Brad took his well deserved curtain call, and was awarded his degree posthumously by Dr. Will Garrett-Petts, Associate Dean of Arts.

The family is very appreciative of the tremendous outpouring of love and support from the TRU and Kamloops Theatre communities, our dear friends from Kitimat, and Bradley's amazing childhood friends and university classmates during this most difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, an Endowment Fund has been established in Bradley's memory. Donations can be made to: Thompson Rivers University Foundation with a notation on memo line to Bradley Munro, and send to Thompson Rivers University Foundation / Advancement Office, 900 McGill Road, Kamloops, B.C., V2C 9Z9.
