J. Emeri "Ti-Mer" LeBlanc
LeBLANC, J. EMERI “TI-MER” - 1942 - 2011 - J. Emeri “Ti-Mer” LeBlanc, 69, of Dieppe, NB, passed away after a lengthy illness on Wednesday, November 23rd, 2011 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center. Born in Boutouche, NB, he was the son of Rita (née: Cormier) and the late Antelien LeBlanc. Mr. LeBlanc had retired as a Corp. Commissionaire at the Air Traffic Control Centre. He was a member of the Royal 22nd Regiment – NB Chapter and a former member of the Vandoos of Val Cartier, QC and the Knights of Columbus. He was a member of Ste-Thérèse parish, where he contributed to the celebrations by his involvement as a reader, in serving communion and as a member of Ste-Thérèse Singers for over 15 years. Emeri was an avid reader and enjoyed writing poetry. He was a huge Montreal Canadiens fan and never missed watching a televised game with his daughter. Every year, he also enjoyed visiting Quebec City with his wife. Besides his mother, Rita LeBlanc of Dieppe, he is survived by his loving wife, Gail (née: Wood); his daughter and best friend, Jocelyne LeBlanc of Dieppe; two sisters: Janice (Robert) Surette of Scoudouc and Monique (Robert) Arsenault of Dieppe; two brothers: Maurice (Iris) of Bathurst and Raoul “Roy” (Michelle) of Moncton, his beloved cat, Mitaines as well as several nieces and nephews.
No visitation will be held at the funeral home. Funeral service will be celebrated from Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (857-1901), on Monday, November 28th, 2011 at 3 pm. Interment at the Chartersville Funeral Home Columbarium.
