BOUDREAU, RUFIN - Rufin Boudreau, 84, of Trois Ruisseaux passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2011 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital Centre, Moncton following a brief illness. Born June 30, 1927 in Trois Ruisseaux, he was the son of the late Alphée and Mélina (Léger) Boudreau. Rufin was the former operator of Alvin and Rufin Boudreau and Sons Tobacco and Fish Processor. He was an avid gardener and loved driving his all terrain vehicle and going to visit the Little Cape Wharf. He was a member of the Club de l'âge d'or in Cap Pelé. Rufin will be greatly missed by his loving family, his wife of 55 years and 6 months, Antoinette (Bourque) Boudreau, a son Paul (Jackie) of Trois Ruisseaux; two daughters: Murielle Gaudet (Omer) of Dieppe and Pauline LeBlanc (Michel) of Memramcook; three grand daughters: Marie-Josée, Maryse and Isabelle. He is also survived by his two brothers: Omer (late Faustine) of the Villa Providence, Shediac and Norbert (late Carmelite) of Little Cape; three sisters: Albanie Brun (late Aimée) of Cap Pelé, Armandine Robichaud (Ernest) of Moncton and Georgeline Babineau (late Donald) of Toronto, ON and by many nephews, nieces and friends. He is predeceased by a son Léo Paul, a sister Clémentine Niles, two brothers: Alvin and Achille Boudreau and by a grand daughter Janic (2005).
The family will receive relatives and friends at Funérarium Frenette, 2642 Acadie Rd., Cap Pelé (577-3297) on Monday, from 2 to 4 p.m and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, from 9:30 a.m. until time of departure at 10:20 a.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste. Thérèse d'Avila Roman Catholic Church, Cap Pelé on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the parish cemetery.
