Elzéar LeBlanc
LeBLANC, ELZÉAR "OZZIE" - Elzéar "Ozzie" LeBlanc, 81, of Shediac passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2011 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton. Born in Shediac, September 9, 1930, he was the son of the late Alexandre and Alanda (Dupuis) LeBlanc. He worked for CN prior to his retirement and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 33, Shediac where he was also a bartender for many years. Ozzie is survived by a daughter Patricia Pidgeon (Greg) and a son Daniel (Stéphanie) and a sister Sara Arsenault all of Shediac; his four grandchildren who were his pride and joy: Nicole, Mathieu, Timothy and Christopher, a daughter-in-law Kim LeBlanc of Moncton, a special nephew Douglas Sears of Waltham, Mass. and by many nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by his wife Anastasie (Breau) LeBlanc (2006), a sister Delphine LeBlanc and by five brothers: Léandre, Albénie, Zacharie, Thadée and René LeBlanc.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Sunday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. No visitation prior to funeral mass at the funeral home. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Shediac on Monday, November 28, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the parish cemetery.
