On November 22, 2011, Mrs. Annie Chiupka passed away peacefully at Royal Inland Hospital at the age of 88 years.

She is survived by her daughter Adeline of Kamloops and her two sons Mathew of Victoria and John (Lorna) of Wawa, Ontario; she was a special grandmother to Joseph and nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Also left to cherish her memory is her brother Steve and her sisters Eileen and Mary.

Annie was predeceased by her husband Harry, sons David and Danny, her brothers Pete, Paul, Matt and Bill.

Ann was born Annie Doris Seniuk on June 8, 1923 at the family farm at Mossey River, Manitoba. Ann and her husband Harry moved to Kamloops from the farm in Million, Manitoba in 1967. She enjoyed her flowers and gardening, at the home they built in Dallas. Ann was dedicated to her work and faith at the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church for many years.

Prayers will be recited on Monday, November 28, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church, 109 Tranquille Road. The Reverend Father Pavlo Myts will celebrate the Funeral Service in the Church on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
