FRIDTHJOFSSON, JON - Jon Fridthjofsson, age 70 of Pennfield, NB passed away suddenly at home on November 19, 2011. Born in Reykjavik, Iceland he was the son of the late Lilja Jonsdottir and Fridthjofur Arnasson. Jon was employed with Cooke Aquaculture, St. George, New Brunswick. He is survived by his wife Sigridur Bertelsdottir, daughters Lilja (Denis Poulin) Jonsdottir, Gatineau, Que; Erna Jonsdottir, Dartmouth, NS; sons Bertel Jonsson, Dartmouth; Sigurdur (Catherine) Jonsson, Dartmouth; brother Ivar Fridthjofsson, Reykjavik, Iceland, grandchildren Gabrielle Poulin, Ingimar Poulin, Erik Jonsson and William Jonsson.
A funeral service will be held 2 pm on Monday, November 28, 2011 at Atlantic Funeral Home Chapel, 771 Main St., Dartmouth. Burial at a later date.
