CORMIER, EDNA MARIE - Edna Marie Cormier of Saint John occurred unexpectedly on Friday, November 25, 2011 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Caraquet, NB she was the daughter of the late August and Pauline (Chiasson) Gionet. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Ronald Cormier. She is survived by her daughter Peggy Crandelmier of Vancouver; two grandchildren Christy and Matthew; brothers Ed Gionet (Carol Ann) and Gerry Gionet (Janice) both of Ontario, Denis Gionet and Lee Gionet both of Saint John; sisters Patricia Patterson (Terrance) of Kingston, Cecile Cyr of Saint John and Elizabeth Waite (Trevor) of Ontario; several nieces and nephews.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday 2 to 4 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, November 28, 2011 at 7 p.m., followed by a reception. Interment will take place in the spring.
