Scott Ervin Berkey passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 24th, 2011 at the age of 59 years.

Scott is survived by his loving family; his wife of 24 years Angela, son Jesse (Emmy), daughters Sarah, Hanna, Torrie, his parents Ervin and Audrey Berkey, brother Chris (Jackie) and daughters Erin, Leah (Dallas) Quiring and Leslee and Henry Quiring, sister Shannon (Jim) Sim and son Derek, father and mother-in-law Jerry and Marylynn Jones, brother-in-law Mike (Tami) Jones and family Shalan, Kyndra and Kiana, his Restaurant family and many other relatives and friends.

Scott took over managing the Voyager Restaurant in Cache Creek. In April of 1975 bought the Business and changed the name to Chums Family Restaurant which he still owns and operates.

A Funeral Service for Scott will be held on Thursday, December 1st, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cache Creek Community Hall, Quartz Rd., Cache Creek, followed by Burial in the Ashcroft Cemetery.
