THISTLE, The Reverend Canon William Roberts– Peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, November 30th, 2011, at the Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton. Predeceased by his wife, Ida May and daughter Lynn. Bill will be sadly missed by his son Lee, brother Edgar (Dolly), his sister-in-law Doris, his grandchildren Paul, Sherri, Joel and Jenna, and his great-grandchildren Shannon, Andrew, Blake, Cole, Connor and Logan. Bill will also be missed by many other family members and friends. Cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial service at St. Aidan's Anglican Church, Oakville, on Saturday December 17 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements for cremation were made through Affordable Burials and Cremations of Hamilton.
