Passed peacefully away at the Hoyles-Escasoni Complex on November 7, 2009 at the age of 93, Una Thistle. Predeceased by husband Joseph Clarence Thistle, granddaughter Natasha Suzette Hansford. Left to mourn are children; Roy Thistle (Lynn), Shoal Harbour, NL, Shirley Hansford (Rex), Shoal Harbour, NL and Melvin Delaney, Truro, NS. Grandchildren Andrew, Susan, and Heather (Patrick) and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Monday, November 9th from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10 a.m.to 12 p.m. Funeral service to take place from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Interment to follow from Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
