Gerald E. “Gerry” Parker - 77, of Chatham, Ontario, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at home. Born in Berwick, he was a son of the late Charles and Vera (Dorey) Parker. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Irene (Wilcox) Parker; children, Cathy (Brad) Suter, Tilbury, Ontario; Mike (Danna) Parker, Chatham; grandchildren, Loewyn and Lucas Suter, Jade and Michael Parker; sister, Mariann Mackenzie (the late Donald “Don”), Canning. He enjoyed sports, especially baseball, hockey and golf. He had been employed as a salesman and retired from Lipton Company. Funeral service took place in Chatham on November 22, 2011 followed by cremation and a private family burial. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
