Johnina King, 70, of London, ON passed away Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009 in the London Health Sciences Centre.
Born in New Waterford, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Gus and Sarah Roach.
Johnina is survived by her children, whom she loved dearly, Gus Roach and his wife Lynn of Texas, Brandon King and his wife Jeannie King, Jerome King, Aldina King, Constance King, all of Ontario, Cynthia (King) Raftus and her husband Andrew of Halifax; 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sisters, Tellie Fraser of Manitoba and Margie Jury of New Waterford.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Fawn King; brothers, Joey Roach and Donnie Roach and sister, Greta Marie Roach.
Mother, I remember
so many things about the past,
the many things you used to do
that showed how very much you cared.
I remember all the times
your patient hands helped
and comforted me
when I needed you....
Johnina will be sincerely missed by all of her children.
