RUSSELL, CHARLES - Charles Edward Russell, 74, of Woodstock, NB passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at The Upper River Valley Hospital Waterville, NB. Charlie was born in Nelson Miramichi, NB on July 7, 1937 son of the late Israel and Bridget (McMahon) Russell. Charlie is survived by his wife Marion (Lamoreaux) Russell, Woodstock, NB, sons; Antony Russell (Katherine), Quispamsis, NB, Brett Russell, Woodstock, NB, grandchildren; Joshua Russell, Lauren Russell, William Russell, sisters; Anne Russell, Kingston, ON, Patsy Russell, Nelson, Miramichi, NB, niece; Krista Page, several cousins. Besides his parents; Charlie was predeceased by two brothers; Nicholas and John.
Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road on Friday, December 9 from 6 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 10 from St. Gertrude’s Catholic Church, Woodstock, NB at 11 AM with Fr. John Keoughan. Interment will be held in the Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Carleton County Animal Shelter; Canadian Red Cross; Salvation Army or to a memorial of the donor’s choice.
