Passed peacefully away on December 11, 2011, while surrounded by family and friends, Jim Corcoran of Coots Pond, S.M.B., aged 68 years. Predeceased by wife Mona (1980); parents James & Lucy Ann Corcoran; sisters: Gert Pine, Marion Corcoran, Mary Hickey & Josephine Mandville and brother Ray Corcoran. Leaving to mourn wife Marion; daughters: Sally (Kevin Cornick) and Margaret (Ed Yetman); sons: Clayton (Cheryl) & Matty (Arlene); grandchildren: Courtney, Slade, Soren, Michael & Samantha; brother Tom (Anna); sisters: Cecelia (Aiden Bowen), Kay Achong & Jeanette Corcoran; father-in-law Larry Molloy; sisters-in-law: Bride Corcoran, Anne-Marie (Ray Dobbin), Bridget Bellows, Lucella (Walter Kennedy), Rose Molloy, Violet Molloy, Shirley (Peter King) & Denise Molloy; brothers-in-law: Alec Hickey, Des (Bernadette) Yetman, Paul (Judy) Yetman, Michael Yetman, Loyola (Shawna) Molloy & Barry Molloy and all their families. Also leaving a large number of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, fellow fishermen and FFAW colleagues. As Jim sets sail on his final journey he also leaves his crew of the Coot's Pond Osprey: Billy Squires, Martin Meehan, Adrian Kielly and son, Matty. Resting at Gibbons' Funeral Home, St. Mary's, on Tuesday, December 13, from 10 - 11 am (for family only); 11 am - 9 pm and Wednesday, December 14, 10 am - 9 pm (no visitation on Thursday). Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 15, at 10:30 am at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, St. Mary's. Burial to follow at St. Mary's.
