Passed away on Dec. 10, 2011 at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Betty Marion Hunter of Bishop’s Falls. She was 63 years of age. Mrs. Hunter retired from Spruce-wood Academy as a Student assistant in 2006. She was predeceased by her parents, William & Laura Vokey; brothers, Alonzo & Clarence Vokey. Left to mourn are her son, Troy (Vanessa); daughter, Kerry (Darren) Feltham; sister, Caroline (Pearce) Combden; brothers, George (Shirley) Vokey, Ron (Maureen) Wiseman, and Harry Wiseman. Also leaving to mourn four grandchildren, Preston, Amber, Dennis, Brayden; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Pallbearers were son, Troy Hunter, son-in-law, Darren Feltham, nephews, Craig Combden, Shawn Vokey and Sheldon Combden, and friend, Wally Robinson.
