It is with great sadness that the family of the late Cyril E. King, age 82, announce his passing at his residence in La Scie, NL on December 15, 2011. Predeceased by his 1st wife - Ruby; infant son - Roy; granddaughter - Ashley King; parents - Edward & Annie King; brothers - Herbie King & Malcolm King; siblings-in-law - Claude Ward (Lorraine), James Ward & Eileen Ward. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife - Nina, La Scie, NL; children - Terry King (Lorraine), La Scie, NL, James King (Sherry), Fort McMurray, AB; grandchildren - Sherry Skinner (Dwayne), La Scie, Nl, Maurice King, St. John’s, Tyler King, Fort McMurray, NL; Nina’s Family - Daisy McMurray (Chris), Victoria, BC, Janice Burton (Garland), La Scie, NL, Marlene Gray (Victor), St. George, NB, and their children. Also leaving to mourn sister - Clara Burton (Clarence), La Scie, NL, siblings-in-law - Joan Osbourne, Vivian King, Sidney Ward (Beatrice), Ford Ward (Phyllis), Garland Ward (Triffie), Eleanor Wimbleton (Roy), Hilda Colbourne (Wilbert), Cora Fowler (Delano), and Cecil Ward (Viola) and Bernice Ward; many nieces and nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Pastor William Bowering conducted the funeral service at Bethel Pentecostal Church and Cemetery, La Scie, NL on Sunday, December 18, 2011. Pallbearers were pallbearer one, pallbearer two, pallbearer three, pallbearer four, pallbearer five, pallbearer six.
