After a short battle with cancer at Toronto General Hospital on Tuesday, December 20, 2011.
Willard will be missed by his wife Imelda; his daughters Charlene (Mike), Tracey (Glenn), Lisa (John); grandchildren Randi, Meaghan and Branden; as well as his many other family members and friends.
Willard had a tremendous amount of courage to try all treatments that were offered to him, however the treatments were unsuccessful. He never complained and it proved to us what a love he had for this life.
Visitation will be held at the Sherrin Funeral Home, Cremation & Tribute Centre, 873 Kingston Road, Toronto, Ontario, 416-698-2861 (West of Victoria Park Ave.) on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 10 a.m. Interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society (Multiple Myeloma) would be appreciated by the family.
