POWER, Dorothy Beatrice (nee Sooley) – December 28, 1939 – December 19, 2011. Passed peacefully away in Ajax, Ontario on Monday, December 19th, 2011, Dorothy Power of Heart’s Delight, aged 71 years. Predeceased by husband, Dominic Power, father Francis Sooley, mother Doris Sooley, brothers Francis Sooley, Hedley Sooley, Lewis Sooley, Selwyn Sooley (Christine), Percy Sooley and great-granddaughter Malarie Jensen. Leaving to mourn and celebrate her life with thanksgiving are: daughter Monica Jensen (Ron); sons: Francis Power, Byron Power (Debbie); grandchildren: Percy Jensen, Candice Jensen (Andy), Jenesta Power and Blake Power; great-grandchildren: Felicia Jensen and Mackaila Jensen; brothers: Clyde Sooley (Marg), Gordon Sooley (Virtue); sisters: Margaret King (Mansel), Hazel Sooley, and Emily McCoy (Larry); sisters-in-law: Cathy Sooley and Ella Sooley. Dorothy is also lovingly remembered by a number of other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation for family and friends will be held at the S.U.F. Lodge, Heart’s Delight on Monday, December 26, 2 to 9 p.m. A service of celebration and thanksgiving for Dorothy’s life will be held from Sacred Heart Church, Heart’s Desire on Tuesday, December 27 at 2 p.m. Inurnment to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
