The death occurred peacefully at her home on Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2011 of Shirlee Jean (nee Green) Craig, of Middleton, P.E.I., aged 72 years. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Wilfred Craig. Born Aug. 13, 1939, Shirlee was the daughter of the late Olive and Preston Green of Malpeque, P.E.I. Cherished mother of Janet (Eddy) Dykerman, North Milton; Alan (Pearl) Craig, Middleton; Joanne DesRoche, Cambridge, N.S and Susan Jessome (Frank Jones), Kinkora. Loving grammy and doddy to Craig, Matthew (Nadia), Katie and Jennifer Dykerman; Emily, Kendra and Leah Craig; Peter, Melanie, Sara and Jenna DesRoche and Nicholas and Jonathan Jessome and Zachary Jones. Sister-in-law to Olivia (Bob) Wells, Louise (Greg) Corbett, Cathy Bonnell and Mary Campney. Resting at the Lawless Funeral Home, Kinkora. Funeral on Saturday, Dec. 31 at Bedeque United Church at 11 a.m. Interment at a later date. Visiting hours on Friday, Dec. 30 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. If so desired memorial donations may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation or the PEI Humane Society.
