It is with great sadness that the family of the late Claude Sacrey, age 71, announce his passing at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte, NL on Wednesday, December 21, 2011. Predeceased by his parents - Roland & Joyce Sacrey; granddaughter - Olivia Sacrey; parents-in-law - Dorman & Theresa Sacrey; siblings-in-law - Clarence Whalen, Lillian Sheppard (Lenton), Alfreda Martin (John) and Gordon Sacrey. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife - Olive, Pacquet, NL; children - Kay Johnson (Roy), Deer Lake, NL, Kerry Sacrey (Lori-Ann), Baie Verte, NL, Kim Regular (Dana), Okotoks, AB; grandchildren - Daniel & Faith Sacrey; Dylan Regular; siblings - Beatrice Atkinson (James), Calvin Sacrey (Pamela), Mervin Sacrey (Florence), Vivian Cole (Thomas), Kevin Sacrey (Brenda), Pratt Sacrey (Violet), Tony Sacrey (Juanita) and Vera Whalen; siblings-in-law - Robert Sacrey (Edna), Winston Sacrey (Florella), Evelyn Sacrey (Jonas), Loretta Saunders (Lewis) and Jessie Mitchell (Reginald) ; many nieces and nephews, and a large circle of other relatives and friends.
Rev. Christina Hague conducted the funeral service at First United Church & Cemetery, Pacquet, NL on Saturday, December 24, 2011.
Pallbearers were Kerry Sacrey, Mervin Sacrey, Kevin Sacrey, Pratt Sacrey, Tony Sacrey and Todd Cole.
