MARTIN, ALBERT - Albert Martin, 87, of Moncton, passed away at Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga on Thursday, December 29, 2011 following a sudden illness. Born September 8, 1924 in Rivière-Verte, NB, he was the son of the late Fidèle and Léona (Thériault) Martin. Albert is survived by his beloved wife, Rosaline née LeBlanc; four children: Philip and David, both of Barrie, ON, Raymond (Margaret) of Nobleton, ON, and Lisa of Mississauga, ON; eight grandchildren: Aaron, Lindsay, Anna Lisa, Thomas, Uri, Chantel, Nicole and Rachel; four sisters and three brothers: Thérèse, Jacqueline, Anne, Adrien, Yvon, Alain and Rachel; many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by one sister and four brothers: Rita, Lionel, Tom, Hubert and Normand.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). Visiting hours Monday, January 2 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-Grâce R.C. Church (Parkton), 854 Mountain Road, Moncton on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Saint-Antoine. In memory of Albert, a contribution to Parkinson Society would be appreciated.
