The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Friday, Dec. 30, 2011 of Rose "Adele" Arsenault of the Chez-Nous Ltee, Wellington and formerly of Summerside, aged 89 years. Adele was born on July 17, 1922 in Abrams Village, P.E.I. to her late parents Wilbert and Brigitte Arsenault. Beloved wife of the late J. Albert Arsenault and loving mother of Angus, Claude (David), Donna MacLean (Grant), Stephen (Rose) and Robin (Christina). Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Melissa, Marcus, Matthew, Steve and Brigitte, her three great-grandchildren Gabriel, Sophia and Mason and several nieces and nephews. Survived by her brother Dr. Ted (Monique) Arsenault, her sisters Melba Morehouse, Pauline (Don) Patterson and Helen (Harold) Guenther and sister-in-law Rita Arsenault. Besides her parents and husband, Adele was predeceased by her son Gary, brother Elmer Arsenault, sister Yvonne Davies and brother-in-law Paul Morehouse. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Monday, Jan. 2, 2012 for a funeral mass at St. Paul's Church, Summerside at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. By family request, there will be no visiting hours held. Memorial donations in Adele's memory to the CNIB or to the Chez-Nous Ltee, Wellington would be greatly appreciated.
