BURKE, R. Elizabeth (Liz) – 70. Passed quietly and peacefully away at the L. A. Miller Centre on December 27th, 2011, Elizabeth (Liz) Burke formerly of Long Harbour, after a short and very courageous battle with cancer; her loving husband at her bedside. Predeceased by her parents Harold and Ruth Grice. Leaving to mourn with loving memories husband, Denis; son Steven Webb (Debbie Leitch); grand-daughters Tanya Webb-Beaudry (Darren Beaudry), Tina and Gina Webb; great-grandson Walker Beaudry; sisters Eileen Hackett (Adam), Marg Ferguson (Glen); brother Harold Grice; step-daughter Lyla Keating (Raymond); Denis’s grandsons Steven Keating and Josh Keating (Laura, Landon and Chloe) also a large circle of relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Donations in her memory may be made to the SPCA.
