ELLA MAY OAKE
1919 – 2011
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ella May Oake announce her passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Home in Springdale on December 27, 2011 at the age of 92. Ella was a member of the Salvation Army. Left with fond and loving memories are her husband of 75 years, David; sons – Wilbert of Beaumont and Claude (Hope) of Robert’s Arm and daughter Mavis Tizzard of Springdale. Also leaving to mourn sister Beulah (Reg), 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Major Lindsay Oxford and Majors Marvin and Vera Youden conducted the funeral service from the Salvation Army Citadel in Beaumont on December 30, 2011 @ 1 P.M. Interment was at the Salvation Army Cemetery. Pallbearers were Wilbert Oake (Son), Claude Oake (Son), David Tizzard (Grandson), Keith Oake (Grandson), Leroy Bromley (Grandson-in-law) and Clyde Croucher (Friend).
