APPLEBY, MARGARET BOICE (HUESTIS) - Margaret Boice Appleby passed away at York Care Centre on January 6th, 2012 at the age of 91. Born in Fredericton on May 22nd, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Ernest M. Huestis and Jessie B. (Ferris) Huestis and the wife of the late Norman M. Appleby who passed away in 1976. She was a member of the First Cambridge Baptist Church at McDonald's Corner and Provincial and Dominion Life Member of the Women's Missionary Society. Margaret is survived by her friend and nephew, Eldon Appleby (Bonnie) of Cambridge-Narrows, NB; nephews, Clifford Rymes and Gerald Rymes of Fredericton, NB; nieces, Nadine Tyner (Rick) of Cambridge-Narrows, NB and Joan Appleby of Whitewood, SK; great nieces, Colleen (Greg), Sheila (Stuart), Joanne and Brenda; great-great niece and nephew, Madison and Logan and several cousins. She was predeceased by her sister, Alice I. Rymes.
At Margaret's request, there will be no visitation. A memorial and committal service will be held at the family cemetery at Appleby's Point, Queens County on Wednesday, January 11th, 2012 at 2:00 pm to which friends and relatives are welcome. Rev. Aubrey Trail will officiate. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the First Cambridge Baptist Church, or to the charity of the donor's choice.
